Open Thread for Anyone to Comment from the Socionomics Summit

Alas, I will again miss this year's Socionomics Summit.  If anyone attending gets the time, feel free to drop a comment here to let us know what we are missing.

Thanks in advance.

I wasn't procrastinating--I only just now wandered into your space here.

SSII wasn't quite the caliber of the first one, but I guess few sequels are. Could be that my reaction is rooted in unfair expectations.

The tone was much more financial services focused and less romantically academic than in 2011. Kotick's verbal pillaging of his speaking slot may have had more emotion than the entirety of the rest of the talks in the first two Summits combined. Probably worth the price of admission on its own.

The crowd seemed a tad younger and the gatherings seemed a bit more clique-y. The seats weren't as full as in 2011.

After the first one, there was no question I'd be attending in 2012. I'm up in the air about 2013.
